Improving medical and social assistance for children necessitates studying and analyzing morbidity in various age groups to enhance the effectiveness of preventive work, as well as developing measures aimed at preserving and protecting their health. This study conducted an in-depth analysis of morbidity in preschool children and investigated its causes. The results indicated that morbidity in children under seven in the city of Andijan is age-dependent, with the rate of illness observed to decrease with age. Respiratory diseases are predominant in the morbidity structure across all age groups. While the study of morbidity in children under seven in the urban and rural areas of the Andijan region, based on medical consultations, revealed characteristics of childhood illness specific to this region, the organization and implementation of medical examinations enabled the identification of previously undetected, asymptomatic, and unregistered chronic diseases not on record at medical and preventive institutions.
