Legal-normative basis of application of PISA international assessment program to national education system and its content, as well as practical aspects of the impact on education system are highlighted in the article. The article also describes the relevance and possibilities of participation in international programs for assessing the quality of education, directions of PISA international assessment program in improving the content of national education system of Uzbekistan and their practical importance.
