The excited collective states of heavy even-even nuclei of the quadrupole type are studied in the framework of an arbitrary nonaxiality approximation of the nonadiabatic collective model. The energy spectrum of the excited levels of the ground, β- and γ-bands of 152Sm, 156Dy, 164166Er and 230Th nuclei are described. The energy spectrum of the gamma-band with high spins has received the special attention. In the description of the energy levels of these nuclei, the first and second order terms in the expansion of the rotational energy operator with respect to the variable γ are taken into account.
