Within the framework of general relativity, a model of an equilibrium configuration of gravitating object is constructed. The spherical symmetric object studied consists of a spherical layer of a hypothetical relativistic gas, where deviations from Pascal's law maybe allowed, which establish the pressure isotropy being responsible to an ideal fluid. The obtained model has importance in describing observational properties of relativistic gravitating objects.
