ADIABATIC APPROXIMATION OF THE QUADRUPOLE-OCTOPOLE ROTATOR

Annotatsiya

The excited collective states of deformed even-even nuclei with quadrupole and octupole deformations have been studied in the framework of the approximation of a nonaxial quadrupoleoctupole rotator. The matrix elements of the Hamiltonian of the nonaxial rotator are calculated numerically for a given angular momentum of an even-even nucleus I. The energies of the excited collective states of the yrast and γ-bands of the even-even nuclei 152,154Sm, 230Th and 238U are calculated and they are compared with the corresponding experimental data. In this case, the energy levels of the γ-band with high spin states are considered.
