Annotatsiya

This study investigated neurological and cognitive alterations in 120 patients with different stages of COPD using clinical, neuropsychological assessments, transcranial Doppler ultrasonography, and MRI. Cognitive decline (attention and frontal dysfunction), impaired cerebral perfusion, and diffuse white matter changes were observed, with the most pronounced abnormalities at stages III–IV. The findings highlight the importance of early screening and multidisciplinary management of neurological complications in COPD patients to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life.
