Annotatsiya

Migraine is one of the most common neurological diseases in the world, and according to statistics, it ranks second among diseases that cause disability. We all know that this disease is several times more common in women than in men. Although the clinical symptoms, severity and complications of migraine have been known for many years, research is still ongoing to determine its pathogenetic causes. To date, many studies have been conducted on the vascular theory, serotonin theory and the involvement of hormones in the pathogenesis of migraine. However, these studies have not been able to fully reveal the pathogenesis of the disease. In recent years, the role of neuropeptides in the pathogenesis of migraine and their role in causing neuroinflammation in the central nervous system and migraine attacks has been widely discussed in foreign literature. In this regard, in this article, we will analyze the studies conducted on the pathogenesis of migraine below.
