The study included 80 patients who experienced an acute ischemic stroke and were hospitalized within the first 6 hours from symptom onset. The diagnosis was confirmed using neuroimaging methods (CT or MRI of the brain). All patients underwent reperfusion therapy: systemic thrombolysis and/or mechanical thrombectomy. Special attention was given to the role of antioxidant therapy and early preventive measures in reducing the risk of secondary complications (hemorrhagic transformation, brain edema, infectious complications) and their impact on the clinical course of stroke.
