The article presents a comparative analysis of psychophysiological and psychological indicators of junior football players from two teams. The study involved 49 athletes representing the teams "Odil Juniors” and "Lokomotiv”. To assess individual characteristics, a set of validated psychodiagnostic methods was applied, including the Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPl) to determine temperament type, the Profile of Mood States (POMS), the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory (CSAI-2), as well as psychophysiological tests aimed at evaluating sensorimotor reactions, short-term memory, and attention stability. The results of the study revealed no statistically significant differences between the teams in terms of the distribution of psychotypes, psychophysiological. and psychological indicators. In the personality structure of athletes from both teams, the sanguine temperament type predominates, characterized by emotional stability and high adaptability. Psychophysiological indicators demonstrate a comparable level of cognitive and sensorimotor abilities, while psychological characteristics reflect similar adaptive and emotional-volitional qualities. The obtained data confirm the feasibility of using comprehensive psychophysiological and psychological monitoring in the training system ofjunior football players in order to individualize the training process and prevent psycho-emotional overstrain.
