The article is dedicated to a deep analysis of the semantic structure of verbal suffixal adjectives, which play an important role in Russian lexicology and semantics. The author examines the nature of these adjectives, highlighting their origin and the transformation of the verb stem into an adjective through the addi tion of suffixes. The main idea of the article is that verbal suffixal adjectives have a complex and multifaceted semantics, which includes not only qualitative but also quantitative characteristics, as well as state features.
