This article analyzes the importance of the writer’s individual language and style in determining his linguistic personality. The writer’s originality in using language tools, methods of artistic expression and stylistic features are considered as the main criteria for forming his creative portrait. On the basis of a literary text, the manifestation of the writer’s personality through language is revealed.
