The article explores the linguistic and cultural characteristics of proverbs and sayings, revealing the relationship between linguistics and cognitology, psychology, philosophy, ethics-aesthetics, and linguo culturology. The expression of cultural concepts such as hospitality, childhood, patience, and respect for parents in paremiological units in Uzbek folk folklore is analyzed.
