In the context of modern economic development of Uzbekistan, the introduction of digital technologies into the financial sector is becoming especially relevant. The digital Uzbek sum is an innovative tool that contributes to effective budget control and prevention of misuse of public funds. This work analyzes the benefits of digitalization of financial processes, including automation of accounting, transparency of transactions and improved access to information for all participants in the budget process. The introduction of the digital Uzbek sum will significantly improve the efficiency of public finance management, reduce corruption and ensure a more rational use of budgetary resources. The study also examines the existing challenges and prospects associated with the implementation of this initiative in the context of the national economy.
