This article explores the issues of statistical assessment of the potential of the territorial economy. Within the framework of the study, territorial economic indicators were analyzed on the example of the Kashkadarya region, statistical methods of assessment were studied, and a methodology for assessing territorial economic potential was proposed. Based on the results, conclusions and proposals have been made to improve regional economic development.
