This article examines the current problems of electricity supply in Uzbekistan. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the current state of the energy infrastructure, the causes of electricity shortages and the impact of these factors on the economy and everyday life of citizens. The prospects for energy development, including the introduction of renewable energy sources and the modernization of existing capacities, are also discussed. The purpose of the article is to identify the main problems and consider proposals for their solution in order to improve the sustainability and efficiency of the country's electricity supply system.
