In the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and an increase in the number of cyber threats, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan is taking active measures to strengthen cybersecurity and combat fraud in banking and payment systems. This strategy includes an integrated approach aimed at improving data protection, increasing user awareness and introducing modern information security technologies.The main directions of the strategy include: the development and implementation of regulations governing cybersecurity; the creation of specialized units for monitoring and responding to incidents; training of bank employees and users about the risks of cyber threats; as well as cooperation with international organizations to share experiences and best practices.As a result of the implementation of this strategy, it is expected to significantly reduce fraud cases, increase customer confidence in financial institutions and create a safe environment for financial transactions. Effective fight against cyber threats will be an important step towards the sustainable development of the financial sector in Uzbekistan.
