Complications of facial nerve neuropathy occurs in 25-30% of the population in Europe and Asia. The paper analyzes the clinical and neurological features of facial nerve contractures in the examined patients. In scientific work, 163 (100%) patients were examined, of which 66 (40.5%) were men, 97 (59.5%) were women, whose average age was 43 ± 3.4 years. It has been proven that the clinical course of neuropathy of the facial nerve in the late periods, which manifests itself in the form of irreversible late complications, such as synkinesis and contracture of facial muscles.
