This article examines the historical development of international cooperation in the field of metro systems. Particular attention is paid to the processes of technology transfer, exchange of engineering expertise, investment collaboration, and institutional integration among countries. The role of international organizations and consortia in the development of metro infrastructure is also highlighted. The findings demonstrate that international cooperation is a crucial factor in improving modern urban transport systems.
