This article examines the issues of dating the Kulbulak, one of the Stone Age monuments located in the Akhangaran Valley, as well as the debates and critical perspectives regarding the interpretation of the Early Paleolithic stone industry. In addition, based on the scientific works of the Paleolithic scholar M.R. Kasymov, the article provides a detailed analysis of the techno-typological characteristics of stone tools recovered from the Early Paleolithic deposits of the Kulbulak technocomplex, as well as their cultural specificity.
