The article provides important information about the studies carried out at the first stage of the study of the Angillac Cave, their results and the ancient history of Uzbekistan. The importance of information about the Angillac stone industry, Angillac Cave and its place in the history of the Paleolithic of Uzbekistan, which uniquely and favorably distinguishes it from other technocomplexes in Central Asia, is emphasized.
