This article describes the stages of development of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation in the field of higher education. At the same time, it is based on specific data that over the years of independence of Uzbekistan in the field of higher education, cooperation with Russia in this area has become more active. It is noted that the country is successfully implementing reforms in the field of higher education, especially with the effective use of the experience of the world education system.
