This article provides information about the court instrumental music art that emerged in the Bukhara Emirate, its development during the years of independence, and the widespread popularity of the “Bukharcha” series of melodies and songs among the people, as well as their unique styles of performance. It also highlights renowned instrumentalists who skillfully performed “Bukharcha” melodies and songs, along with folklore-ethnographic ensembles. The distinctive features of instrumental performance art, the master-apprentice tradition, and the skills of apprentices in demonstrating this art are also discussed. In addition, valuable information is presented about the creative activities of famous artists who contributed to the promotion of this art form during the independence period.
