Annotatsiya

This article discusses specific ore sources and areas of production of metal used in the early metal era bymetallurgists of ancient Eastern cultures, as well as hand-shaped painted pottery culture in the Fergana-Tashkent region, identified by comparing the chemical compositions of copper and bronze objects (about 300items) with the geochemistry of copper and polymetallic deposits of the Pskem-Chatkal-Kurama mining andmetallurgical region. In addition, the chronological sequence of using ore sources of raw materials has beendetermined. It was revealed that the development of local ancient metal production proceeded from the 2ndhalf of the 3rd to the 1st third of the 1st millennium BC. It was based on raw materials mined from local andforeign ore sources. The history of metallurgy in the Fergana-Tashkent region of the Early Metal Age can besplit into three stages. The first stage of production is associated with the migration of ancient eastern tribesfrom Sarazm to the southeast of Kyrgyzstan and dates back to the second half (possibly the last centuries) ofthe 3rd - first centuries of the 2nd millennium BC. The second stage dates back to the 17th-13th centuries BC.The metallurgy of this time is advanced by the tribes of the Petrovsky, Alakul, and Fedorovsky cultures and thehand-shaped painted pottery cultures of the Early Bronze Age. The third stage of metallurgy, dating from the12th-8th centuries BC, is associated with the metal produced by the roller and hand-shaped painted ceramicscultures of the Late Bronze Age. This stage in the metal production of the Fergana-Tashkent region markssignificant changes in the recipe of alloys used by local foundries.
