The clinical and anatomical characteristics of Hirschsprung’s disease are substantiated to be directly dependent on the child’s age, the length of the aganglionic segment, and the degree of disease compensation. The literature review demonstrates that the main objective of surgical treatment is the elimination of the pathological aganglionic segment. In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to minimally invasive endoscopic techniques and single-stage surgical procedures.
