The article provides a comprehensive analysis of modern diagnostic approaches for ureteral cancer. A review of current imaging methods is presented, including multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT), positron emission tomography (PET/CT), and molecular genetic studies. The technical features and limitations of diagnostic techniques are examined, emphasizing the need for a multidisciplinary approach. Special attention is paid to early diagnosis, imaging challenges, and promising areas of non-invasive ureteral cancer diagnostics. Key challenges in modern onco-urology are identified, requiring further research and implementation of innovative technologies.
