An analysis of forensic medical examination materials was conducted in cases of major joint injuries resulting from traffic accidents. Injuries were more common among pedestrians and drivers, predominantly males aged 18–29 years, and occurred mainly in the second quarter of the year. Isolated injuries prevailed, typically in the form of fractures accompanied by contusions or ruptures of periarticular soft tissues. In 69 cases (24.7%), the injuries were classified as severe, with 12 of them meeting the criterion of life-threatening conditions.
