This article presents a comparative analysis of the initial survival rate of clonal (vegetative) apple rootstock cuttings planted under the specific highly saline soil and sharply continental climatic conditions of the Khorezm region. Dwarf and semi-dwarf rootstocks, including MM-106, MM-102, MM-111, M-9, and M-7, which are widely used in Uzbekistan and foreign countries, were selected as research objects. During the observations, the effects of regional environmental factors, such as high air temperature and soil salinity, on the onset of phenological phases, survival, and development of each rootstock type were scientifically evaluated. The experimental results obtained allow the selection of promising rootstockvariety combinations that exhibit high resistance to the stress factors of the region and are optimal for commercial intensive orcharding, as well as improving the production technology of high-quality nursery plants.
