The article presents the results of studies on the effect of sowing dates and seeding rates on field germination, plant survival and yield of Bahorikor and Lalmikor oil flax varieties under rainfed conditions of Gallaaral district. The highest yield was obtained when sowing was carried out on March 11–20 with a seeding rate of 4.0 million seeds per hectare. Average yield reached 13.2 c/ha for Bahorikor and 12.7 c/ha for Lalmikor variety.
