This article presents a review of scientific literature and the research methodology on the effects of different substrates and growth stimulators on the initial growth and development of kiwi seedlings (Actinidia deliciosa A. Chev.) grown from seeds under protected cultivation conditions in Jomboy district of Samarkand region. The study considers the use of pure soil, soil + biohumus + sand (40:30:30), and soil + manure + sand (40:30:30) substrates. As growth stimulators, Indole-3-butyric acid (Kornevin), Zircon, Gibberellin, and their combinations with the Epin Extra preparation were investigated. The literature review results indicate the significant role of biostimulants in root system formation, acceleration of vegetative growth, enhancement of nutrient uptake, and improvement of resistance to stress factors. The research methodology and analyzed scientific data provide a scientific basis for improving kiwi seedling cultivation technology and for the wider introduction of this promising subtropical crop under the conditions of Uzbekistan.
