The article analyzes the main factors developing the physical abilities of artistic gymnasts. Since artistic gymnastics requires a high level of agility, flexibility, strength, endurance, and balance from athletes, there is a need to deeply study the process of forming and improving these abilities. The work highlights the methods of classes aimed at developing physical abilities, the level of their effectiveness, and approaches corresponding to age and individual characteristics. Based on the research results, practical recommendations for improving the physical fitness of rhythmic gymnasts were developed.
