Annotatsiya

The possibility of obtaining a tungsten-substituting Ti0.70Mo0.30C cubic alloy by high-temperature sintering (at 2500 K) of powders of TiC and MoC cubic carbides mixed in appropriate proportions has been considered. An X-ray and neutron diffraction methods were used to unvestigate the alloys. The lattice parameter is а=4.338±0.002 Å. The crystal structure is described within the space group Fm 3 m, in which Ti and Mo atoms are intersubstituted and statistically occupy positions 4b, and C atoms statistically occupy octahedral interstitials 4а.
