This article examines the issues of improving the technology of growing asparagus (Asparagus officinalis L.) seedlings in the soil and climatic conditions of the Samarkand region. The research results showed that when sowing asparagus seeds in November, the highest indicators for rhizome mass and the number of buds in seedlings were recorded, which is the main factor determining the future yield of the crop. The obtained results contain practical recommendations for preparing high-quality seedlings when establishing asparagus plantations.
