Annotatsiya

In a literary work, psychology occupies an important place. Regardless of whether the work is prose, poetry, or drama, the inner world of the characters, their emotional experiences, and psychological processes remain central. After all, neither artistic expression nor a human being can exist without a psyche. The study of character psychology first emerged in Europe, developed over time, and left a lasting mark. In Uzbek literature, psychologism began to be actively explored after the first half of the 20th century, initially manifesting in poetry. In prose, there was a tendency to move away from superficial realism and portray the deeper layers of human consciousness, particularly in the 1980s. As a result, characters emerged that deeply resonated with readers, reflecting national traits and human virtues. Said Ahmad’s work is particularly significant in revealing character psychology and expressing the national spirit. Moreover, his stories intertwine social issues and human experiences, leaving a profound impression on the reader.
