In this article, it seems necessary to first consider the etymology of the term “concept”, which is the core term of the conceptual apparatus of cognitive linguistics and linguacultural studies. Cognitive linguistics as an interdisciplinary science studies the connection between language and thinking, considering language not only as a means of communication, but also as a reflection of the conceptual structure of consciousness. One of the key concepts of cognitive linguistics is the concept, which acts as a unit of storage, processing and transmission of knowledge in the human mind. The study of concepts allows us to understand how knowledge is organized in the mental sphere, how language represents this knowledge and what mechanisms are involved in its formation. The concept is a link between language and culture, reflecting both individual and cultural experience.
