This article explores the methodological principles behind the conceptualization and categorization of anthropophenomena in cognitive linguistics and linguistic anthropology. Anthropophenomena are understood as mental constructs shaped and conveyed through language, reflecting human experiences, social values, and culturally influenced perceptions of reality. The study investigates how these phenomena operate as linguomental and linguocognitive categories embedded in the shared perception and conceptual framework of a linguistic community. It highlights the crucial role language plays in forming cognitive models that individuals use to interpret and structure human-centered knowledge. The research employs methods such as semantic analysis, cognitive modeling, prototype-based categorization, and associative field mapping to uncover the underlying conceptual frameworks of anthropophenomena. Furthermore, it stresses the importance of national-cultural uniqueness and worldview in molding linguistic representations of concepts related to human existence. By explaining the processes of conceptualization and categorization, this work advances our considerate of the intricate connections between language, cognition, and culture.
