Annotatsiya

In the multilingual educational environment of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the issue of developing pronunciation competence among Karakalpak-speaking students learning Russian as a non-native language has become particularly relevant. Linguistic interference, caused by differences in the phonetic systems of the Karakalpak and Russian languages, significantly complicates the acquisition of correct pronunciation skills, reduces the quality of spoken language, and hinders effective communication. The aim of this study is to identify the specific features of phonetic interference and to develop effective methodological approaches to teaching Russian pronunciation, taking into account the linguistic background of the learners. A set of methodological solutions is proposed to address the identified challenges. These include targeted phonetic training, the development of articulatory skills, training in auditory perception, work on stress placement, syllabic reading, and the use of audiovisual teaching tools and digital educational platforms. Special attention is paid to adapting exercises to the linguocultural specifics of the Karakalpak student audience. The study concludes that a systematic and differentiated approach is required for teaching Russian pronunciation, one that is based on the phonetic differences between the native and target languages and aimed at developing pronunciation competence as a key component of communicative competence. The proposed methodology can be effectively applied in the teaching of Russian as a non-native language in multiethnic and multilingual regions.
