L. Erdrich is widely regarded as one of the most significant and influential voices among Native American authors, making substantial contributions to the second wave of the Renaissance of Native American literature. L. Erdrich has authored over thirty books to date, including nearly seventeen novels. Many of her novels have achieved bestseller status and garnered both national and international acclaim through various prestigious awards.
