The article examines the sociolinguistic aspects of the use of business terminology in English-language and Uzbek-language print media. A comparative analysis of the lexical composition of newspapers and magazines in English and Uzbek is carried out, as well as a review of the scientific literature of recent years on this topic. Special attention is paid to the influence of English on Uzbek business vocabulary, the spread of Anglicisms, as well as strategies for adapting borrowed terms. The similarities and differences in the use and understanding of business terms in both languages due to historical, cultural and social factors are revealed. The results of the study provide a deeper understanding of the processes of formation and development of business terminology in the context of globalization and local linguistic norms.
