The article discusses some aspects of the preparation and use of multimedia presentations in the process of implementing pedagogical activities in higher education institutions. Nowadays, it is important to create new innovative technologies that should contribute to the overall development of the individual, the formation of his/her worldview culture, individual experience, and creativity. Among the priority areas of education development, one of the first places is occupied by the introduction of information technologies into the educational process, the most promising of which are considered to be multimedia presentations. In the modern era of information technology, this area is one of the least studied relevant topics. Preparation of multimedia presentations allows a teacher with minimal knowledge of the basics of computer literacy to effectively use them in the learning process. A well-prepared presentation can attract students’ attention, generate interest in the learning process and improve the quality of assimilation of the material. Presentations allow you to successfully solve problems at different stages of presenting educational material. Creative use of information technology allows teachers to diversify the forms of presenting material in the lesson, make it interesting and accessible for perception. At the same time, the effectiveness of multimedia presentations depends on the skill of the teacher.
