This article analyzes the effectiveness of using proverbs in strengthening foreign language vocabulary. In particular, the processes of memorizing and understanding vocabulary are examined through the example of French proverbs. Scientific research, tables, and diagrams highlight the role of proverbs in developing lexical competence. The use of French proverbs is an effective method for reinforcing foreign language vocabulary. This approach not only enriches students’ vocabulary but also enhances their cultural knowledge. Additionally, the article provides detailed information on how teachers can integrate proverbs into the learning process to increase students’ interest in language learning.
