This article is dedicated to the topic "Implementation of Assessment Principles Based on CEFR Criteria" and analyzes the criteria for teaching, learning, and assessing French as a foreign language. It is well known that CEFR is a system developed by the Council of Europe, which establishes international standards for language learning, teaching, and assessment. This system includes six levels, from A1 to C2, and helps evaluate all aspects of language acquisition. CEFR criteria are being successfully integrated into Uzbekistan’s education system, requiring a comprehensive approach. The article emphasizes the importance of teacher training, the development of educational materials, and the improvement of the assessment system in this process. Uzbekistan’s achievement of high results in language education on the international stage depends on the effectiveness of these reforms. Thus, the implementation of CEFR principles in the educational process enhances the efficiency of teachers’ work and enables a systematic evaluation of students’ language competencies.
