This article is dedicated to the peculiarities of phraseological units with floral components in the German language. During the research, phraseological units with floral components, selected from German dictionaries, were analyzed and presented in tables. Phraseological expressions can enter a language's vocabulary under the influence of various factors and methods. Their emergence is determined by different historical events and phenomena, geographical and demographic factors, the influence of folk oral traditions, connections with customs and rituals, as well as the presence of certain religious-mythological images. Identifying the national and cultural characteristics of a phraseological unit is closely related to its etymology. Below is an analysis of some phraseological units with floral components in the German language from a national-cultural perspective. The study covers 68 words related to flora and 201 phraseological expressions with floral components.
