Stylistic devices in the works of Theodore Dreiser and Hector Malot, their reflection in translated works are of great importance from the point of view of linguistics and literary studies. This topic involves analyzing the psychological analysis, metaphors, contrast and other stylistic elements used in the works and their changes in translation. The study of how stylistic devices in Dreiser’s "Gennie Gerhardt" and Malot’s "Sans famille" are preserved or changed in the translation process requires taking into account differences in literary style and interculturality. The correct transfer of stylistic elements in translation helps to preserve the meaning and spirit of the works.
