This article examines the methodological foundations of using creative writing in English language teaching, analyzing its theoretical and practical aspects. The study explores the impact of creative writing on students' linguistic skills, independent and critical thinking. The effectiveness of innovative methods such as “Freewriting,” “Storytelling,” and “Collaborative Writing” is analyzed, along with their integration into the educational process. The research findings indicate that creative writing not only enhances the effectiveness and engagement of language learning but also boosts students’ motivation. Creative writing serves not only as a tool for strengthening grammar knowledge and vocabulary acquisition but also as a crucial method for developing communication skills. Students gain the ability to express their thoughts fluently, coherently, and aesthetically. Furthermore, creative writing introduces an interactive and practical approach to teaching, fostering critical thinking skills among learners.
