This article systematically analyzes the poetic nature, genetic roots, and plot-forming role of Akhmad Sardor (Akhmadbek), the central negative character within the Uzbek folk epic cycle “Gorogli”. Utilizing comparative-historical and structural-typological methods, the paper reveals the patterns of binary opposition between the epic hero and the internal adversary.
