Annotatsiya

Proverbs in Uzbek language are characterized by structural stability and semantic integrity, sometimes containing phraseological units. However, in actual language use, proverbs often undergo modifications, resulting in variant forms. These variations may occur at lexical, syntactic, or stylistic levels. This demonstrates that proverbs, despite their fixed nature, possess a degree of adaptability that allows them to remain relevant in changing communicative contexts and, especially, expressing linguocultural notions. This paper explores the modern variants of Uzbek proverbs including phraseological units in their forms, providing concrete examples and analytical insights supported by relevant scholarly perspectives.
