This article presents a comparative analysis of the lexical and semantic features of diplomatic discourse in Uzbek and English. It examines the semantic and pragmatic functions of diplomatic terminology, political vocabulary, euphemisms, and standard diplomatic formulae. The findings of the study make it possible to identify the common and distinctive characteristics of diplomatic language in the two languages.
