Annotatsiya

The article is devoted to a linguocultural comparative analysis of nature representation in English and Uzbek languages. Nature is considered not only as a linguistic phenomenon but also as a cultural concept reflecting national mentality, worldview, and value systems of different peoples. The research aims to identify common and distinctive linguocultural features of nature imagery in English and Uzbek through the analysis of metaphors, phraseological units, proverbs, and figurative expressions. The methodological basis of the study includes descriptive, comparative, semantic, and linguocultural analysis methods. The study reveals that in English linguoculture nature is often conceptualized as a dynamic, changeable, and emotionally neutral phenomenon, while in Uzbek linguoculture nature is closely associated with sacredness, fertility, and the image of motherhood. The findings of the research contribute to the development of linguocultural studies, comparative linguistics, and intercultural communication, and can be effectively applied in translation studies and foreign language teaching.
