This article examines the linguopedagogical features of teaching students to work with media texts. The study focuses on the concept of media texts, their linguistic and pedagogical significance, and their role in the educational process. Special attention is given to the potential of media texts to develop students’ critical thinking, language competence, discourse awareness, and communicative skills. The article analyzes linguopedagogical approaches, interactive methods, and modern educational technologies used to enhance students’ media literacy. The findings of the study are of practical relevance for improving the effectiveness of language teaching in higher education institutions.
