This work is devoted to the analysis of the image of Yunus Emre in the novel Od by the renowned Turkish writer İskender Pala. The novel primarily explores Yunus Emre’s religious, philosophical, and artistic dimensions, with particular emphasis on his spiritual quest for humanity, love, and truth. Pala succeeds in presenting Yunus Emre’s life and views from a modern perspective while artistically conveying his philosophical and religious teachings. The study examines Yunus Emre’s personality, poetry, and worldview in close connection with the events depicted in the novel and the historical context of his time. In the course of the analysis, attention is given to how Yunus Emre articulated his personal spiritual quest in literary and religious terms and how his works influenced the moral and spiritual life of his contemporaries.
